Let me thank all of you who came, yelled, waved signs, gave leaflets to passerby. The troops are ready; the D.C. leadership is still mostly missing in action. My own iPhone photographic skills are modest. If you have some good pictures you’d like to share, please email them to me, and I can post them here.

  1. Thanks, Andrew. Is today’s flyer (with contacts for Lateefah Simon, Padilla, and Schiff; Tesla; and CalPERS) available anywhere on-line? I’d like to send the info to some people, but can always take a picture of mine.

  2. Actually, it’s the contact info for Tesla and CalPERS I’d like, which appears to be missing from the site’s flyer. I can write them out myself, but it would be good for all Indivisible sympathizers to have easy access to them. Thanks, Melanie

      • Ah. Since Berkeley Indivisible’s original message about today’s event at College and Ashby mentioned passing out flyers, I assumed I had received one. The most useful info from this flyer (whoever produced it):

        Tell Tesla to remove Musk as CEO; Tesla is increasingly toxic as long as he’s there. Call 877-798-3752. E-mail ir@tesla.com and Robyn Denholm, Board Chair, rdenholm@tesla.com

        CalPERS (California Public Employees Retirement System, the USA’s largest public-pension fund) is one of Tesla’s top shareholders; tell them to divest from Tesla. 916-795-3400; wait through the muzak.

        I just checked the above numbers, and they’re all correct.
