Tony the Democrat has at least four postcard campaigns going.

The usual chips and pretzels, or should I go to the Animal Shelter to get Fluffy and Fido for the grill?

Crazy week, wasn’t it?

I think we had a good week, but that’s debatable.

Groan.

Usual place: postcards, phones, texts, whatever we can find. Catch up on what other groups have been doing.

We appear to be a little ahead. Let’s help Kamala and Gus’s Dad finish the job.

we hope everyone reflects for a moment on all we have done. During our spring/summer meetings we brought joy into our politicking just as the Harris/Walz ticket is doing and while we were enjoying ourselves and feasting on champagne and brownies, we educated ourselves AND completed and mailed a staggering 1,300 postcards (!!!). We hope everyone enjoys watching the convention — we have postcards on our porch if anyone needs them and can always help with addresses. Let’s keep up the momentum!

Join us 3:00-5:00 pm for snacks, postcards, letter-writing if anyone wants, update on races and button making. We have 500 new buttons forms so can make lots of buttons! We can also talk about how to stay active until our next meeting. So much good news to celebrate.

We’ll meet Sundays July 21st, 28th and August 4th then take a late summer break. We will restart in the fall–keep your eyes open for a posting about the exact date when we start up again.

For these three Sundays, join us for postcards (1000 done for Schiebert-Hurrah!–now big stack for Salas), letter-writing, snacks, updates on our central campaigns and good cheer. Regular place, 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Today (Sunday July 14, 3:00-5:00) we will listen in on an important discussion on voter persuasion, finish the Arizona postcards (hurrah!) and turn to CA 22. Snacks and friends, both much needed.
